Dress: Markus Lupfer
Shoes: Jimmy Choo

What … Oh what….. Does a girl wear to the finale?
A one of a kind, custom made , unashamedly sexy, backless mini dress, covered in scarlet sequins, from Markus Lupfer of course!!!!
Markus was kind enough to create a sparkling ,insanely sassy, super body con dress, that a girl definitely wouldn’t wear to church! I teamed it with nude Jimmy Choo shoes and nothing else- I just let the dress do the talking!
Rehearsals actually ran over , so we only had forty minutes to get ready, so it was all hands on deck. There was no time for anything too experimental, we kept everything simple. Hair was luxurious tousled waves. Make up was a mixture of fleshy tones, with loads of lashes…
As I ran to the stage , it suddenly dawned on me,we had been ‘experimental’…. we’d created our own version of Kelly le Broc in Weird Science!!!

Dress: Vintage
Shoes: Jimmy Choo

I’m about to blow my cover…. But I’m quite often to be found trawling flea markets, in sunglasses, basically PJ’s, hair in a pony tail and giant bucket of cappuccino. The caffeine is essential at that time in the morning , with serious square footage of stalls containing everything from the sublime to the ridiculous! I bought this vintage dress for $135, had it taken in and snipped off the straps at the studio. I teamed it with silver Jimmy Choo’s and a vintage hair slide, that looked like a tiny hat.
I told the Glamour Girls that they should take their inspiration  from the 40′s, but approached with a modernity and freshness. The up-do was a new version of a chignon , less styled and a little looser. My make up featured super fresh skin, a warm brown eye- rather than the traditional winged eyeliner and of course a super red lip.
My take on the flirty 40′s!

Dress: Rive Island
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Bracelet: Vintage Bangles

Just when you think think you know exactly what’s going to happen next, I like to throw a curve ball! My aim? Surprise, delight and entertain!

The inspiration behind my yellow ,chiffon, River Island , maxi dress
was- Jerry Hall, circa her Studio 54 period, hanging out with Minnelli , Fustenberg and Warhol… OTT?possibly! Fun? Definitely!
From the giant corsage sitting on my collar bone, to the thigh high splits, this dress was a joy to wear!

Gold , Jimmy Choo sandals and copious amounts of vintage bangles finished the look.

My hair was curled into golden shiny waves and draped over one shoulder… Makeup was dramatic , with chiseled cheekbones and lots of metallics in various shades of gold. The eyes were focus point and had a 70′s feel.

Now I just have to choose… Jagger or Ferry?…

Dress: Valentino
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Ring: Accessorize

I’m always on the look out for my latest fashion find….. Even if that is thousands of feet above sea level, in the middle of the mountains, mid ski run!
Yes… You read that right!
I was on holiday, with friends in Courcheval, a fashionable, chic , town , at the foot of Mont Blanc… I’d stopped for my mid afternoon coffee and obligatory hot toddy , with my instructor and in the distance caught sight of the Valentino sign. In a flash, ski’s were off and we were walking through the door. I fell in love with this super girly , pale pink pearl, lace confection. The detail is so delicate and beautifully done , that a girl can’t help but swoon…
Packed up and purchased I skied home….

The Glamour squad kept everything super natural…. hair was messily undone… makeup was shimmery pinks and greys.
Shoes were snakeskin Louboutins and I wore a giant pearl cocktail ring , from Accessorize .

I felt femininely sophisticated, but the ‘Last Emperor’ will do that to a girl!

Dress: TopShop
Shoes: Jimmy Choo

I have some dresses , in my wardrobe, that are over 15 years old. Like old friends they hang in my closet, waiting for their moment to come again. Their glory days are over, but every once in while, when I’m having a “what do I wear?” moment , they jump to my rescue, providing fashion relief , in a comforting , de ja vu , “I remember why I love you” type way….

My dress was a brown lace, mini , with tiny silver sequins, from Topshop (over 10 years ago!) . Loved the sleeves and high neck , in contrast to the super short hemline. My shoes were silver ,snakeskin, sandals , from Jimmy Choo.

Hair was big and supermodel sexy. My make up was ‘Bronze Goddess’, with lots of metallic definition on my eyes, sheeny cheeks and glossy lips. The Nars multiple was my friend!

My dress was a hit once again….. An oldie , but a goodie!

Dress: Valentino

Shoes: Louboutins snakeskin

Ring: Accessorize pearl

Dress: Herve Leger
Shoes: Richard Atwood

Ok …. Here’s my predicament….. What …. Oh what does a girl wear, when one of the biggest ,fashion, rock, goddess, super stars, on the planet, is on the judging panel??? Lady Gaga ! Help? Do I perhaps wear a frying pan , in case she’s having an egg moment? Or do I fashion an outfit from condiments and sauces , to enhance her ‘meat moment’?

In the end there was only one thing for it…. When all else fails bring out the Herve Leger…. And my inspiration? Star Wars. My heavily beaded paneled dress resembled attire fit for a Stormtrooper, if Stormtroopers were women! My lacey, futuristic , Richard Atwood shoes were the perfect combination!

The Stormtrooper theme ran through to my make up , with my heavily lined eyes and neutral lips. Hair was super feminine and mod like, the crown was backcombed and a braid was used to create a head band.

As for Gaga, she rocked ‘General Versace’ and actually threw her McQueen Armadillo shoes onto the stage, in delight! They almost knocked me out, as they came hurtling threw the air…. Death by Couture ,at the hands of Lady Gaga ? What a way to go!

Dress: Warehouse
Shoes: Louboutin
Belt: Vintage belt
Earrings: Melinda Maria

No country in the world does High St better than Britain… It truly is Great!
I’m the biggest fan of French Connection, River Island and of course Top Shop. My Black Swan inspired dress was from a High St store called Warehouse- they always interpret the looks from the catwalk , super quickly and make them wearable and inexpensive. I’m a firm believer that you don’t have to spend a fortune on fashion to be stylish. It’s about unique interpretation and imagination!
I wore my warehouse dress, with a vintage belt, Louboutin , ballet inspired, shoes and Melinda Maria earrings.
My hair was a romantic ‘up do’ of French braids and makeup was super pretty and natural , in neutral flesh tones.
It was a subtle interpretation of Black Swan… With a much happier ending!

Dress: Matthew Williamson

Shoes: Louboutin

Bracelet: Melinda Maria cuff

Uber space bunny beamed down to planet earth to explore the human race….
What does she wear?….. A sequined ,’out of this world’, Matthew Williamson, mini shift dress, of course! A gold, futuristic, Melinda Maria cuff. And Louboutin shoes , a contrasting concoction of sparkles and spikes!
My hair was enhanced with clip in extensions , then ironed straight and shiny. Make up was minimal, just a wash of colour on the eye and a hot pink lip…
The girl who fell to earth….

Dress: French Connection
Shoes: vintage Gucci
Belt: Matthew Williamson
Earrings: gypsy earrings from her mom

So my day began at 5.30 am, which you’d think would be a bad thing, but oh no , my friends, today was one of the greatest days ever….. I was nominated for an Emmy! The only Brit and the only Girl!
I’ve been trying to be blase all day, but I just can’t , I simply have to face facts, that I am not, and never will be cool! There’s an excited, slightly verging on hysterical teen desperately trying to get out!

I arrived at work and the whole team was in my dressing room, champagne, balloons, group hugs etc etc. The show has several nominations, so there’s a real celebratory buzz at the studio, a complete party atmosphere, smiles come easy and there’s lots of laughter….

And then, I dropped the BOMBSHELL….
I told the Girls, “i just want to be simple, natural , glossy and happy” Amy defined my eyes with some golden brown shadows. Sallie just enhanced my natural wave. I wore a classic French Connection dress, Matthew Williamson belt, vintage Gucci shoes and some gypsy earrings my mom bought for me.

This is a day I will never ever forget… I’ll remember it forever…
my look was timeless, natural and most definitely me…..

Dress: Jenny Packham
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Jewelry: Raw uncut diamonds

Sometimes I think I even manage to surprise, shock and just all round terrify my team…. Last night was a doozy! In fact they may be in recovery all week!
I wore the most extravagant , OTT, glorious , fandago of a frock I’ve ever seen, from Jenny Packham. It was so camp and stagey , it was jewel encrusted with plumes of white feathers , it almost looked like a costume. That’s where my inspiration came from! Prepare yourselves…….

“I want to be a fallen 1930′s trapeze artist , that has left the traveling circus to enter the insane asylum ….. ”
When the Glamour Girls recounted this story to Jesse Tyler Feguson(our guest judge) his response was, “Who doesn’t???!!!???”

So Sallie did a modern, brushed out version of Veronica Lake waves and Amy gave me eyes as black as coal with glitter and super nude matt lips. I completed the look with Jimmy Choo silver, snakeskin sandals and raw , uncut diamond rings….
