What … Oh what….. Does a girl wear to the finale?
A one of a kind, custom made , unashamedly sexy, backless mini dress, covered in scarlet sequins, from Markus Lupfer of course!!!!
Markus was kind enough to create a sparkling ,insanely sassy, super body con dress, that a girl definitely wouldn’t wear to church! I teamed it with nude Jimmy Choo shoes and nothing else- I just let the dress do the talking!
Rehearsals actually ran over , so we only had forty minutes to get ready, so it was all hands on deck. There was no time for anything too experimental, we kept everything simple. Hair was luxurious tousled waves. Make up was a mixture of fleshy tones, with loads of lashes…
As I ran to the stage , it suddenly dawned on me,we had been ‘experimental’…. we’d created our own version of Kelly le Broc in Weird Science!!!

I’m about to blow my cover…. But I’m quite often to be found trawling flea markets, in sunglasses, basically PJ’s, hair in a pony tail and giant bucket of cappuccino. The caffeine is essential at that time in the morning , with serious square footage of stalls containing everything from the sublime to the ridiculous! I bought this vintage dress for $135, had it taken in and snipped off the straps at the studio. I teamed it with silver Jimmy Choo’s and a vintage hair slide, that looked like a tiny hat.
I told the Glamour Girls that they should take their inspiration from the 40′s, but approached with a modernity and freshness. The up-do was a new version of a chignon , less styled and a little looser. My make up featured super fresh skin, a warm brown eye- rather than the traditional winged eyeliner and of course a super red lip.
My take on the flirty 40′s!

Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Bracelet: Vintage Bangles
Just when you think think you know exactly what’s going to happen next, I like to throw a curve ball! My aim? Surprise, delight and entertain!
The inspiration behind my yellow ,chiffon, River Island , maxi dress
was- Jerry Hall, circa her Studio 54 period, hanging out with Minnelli , Fustenberg and Warhol… OTT?possibly! Fun? Definitely!
From the giant corsage sitting on my collar bone, to the thigh high splits, this dress was a joy to wear!
Gold , Jimmy Choo sandals and copious amounts of vintage bangles finished the look.
My hair was curled into golden shiny waves and draped over one shoulder… Makeup was dramatic , with chiseled cheekbones and lots of metallics in various shades of gold. The eyes were focus point and had a 70′s feel.
Now I just have to choose… Jagger or Ferry?…

I have some dresses , in my wardrobe, that are over 15 years old. Like old friends they hang in my closet, waiting for their moment to come again. Their glory days are over, but every once in while, when I’m having a “what do I wear?” moment , they jump to my rescue, providing fashion relief , in a comforting , de ja vu , “I remember why I love you” type way….
My dress was a brown lace, mini , with tiny silver sequins, from Topshop (over 10 years ago!) . Loved the sleeves and high neck , in contrast to the super short hemline. My shoes were silver ,snakeskin, sandals , from Jimmy Choo.
Hair was big and supermodel sexy. My make up was ‘Bronze Goddess’, with lots of metallic definition on my eyes, sheeny cheeks and glossy lips. The Nars multiple was my friend!
My dress was a hit once again….. An oldie , but a goodie!
